Gaming Industry in India
Gaming in India has boomed ever since the launch of mobile game called PUBG which was released worldwide on March 19, 2018. It has over 10 crore downloads from the play store. Indian streamers like mortal, dynamo gaming and carryminati made the game extremely famous by livestreaming the game on YouTube. They all have over 1 million subscribers on YouTube. But things did not go well for the developer of the game which is called 'Tencent' which is a south Korean gaming company. After the tension rose at the Indo- China border, The Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology of India banned 118 mobile apps including PUBG MOBILE and TikTok on June 2020. But according to the rumors, it is assumed that PUBG mobile will be back in India by march 2021.
